Your printer can be powered on and still be offline. “Offline” usually means your computer has lost the printer’s network address, or the print queue is holding a broken job.
Start here
- Wake the printer and check that its Wi-Fi light is solid.
- Open the print queue and cancel every pending job.
- Make sure the printer and computer are on the same primary Wi-Fi network.
Send one test page. If it still stays offline, print a network configuration page and add the printer again using its current IP address. That fixes the common case where a router restart gave the printer a new address.
Do not reinstall the driver first. A driver reinstall cannot repair a queue or a stale network address.
